The Parent School Curriculum has two prongs.

Class Sessions

There are the individual classes, grouped around specific ages.  The emphasis is on providing parents with the information they need about their child’s expected development that allows them to implement a consistent parenting approach.  The classes are generally one evening a week, for four consecutive weeks, usually from 6:30-8:30.  Child care is provided for most sessions.

The curriculum is based on current research, and is facilitated by experienced and qualified teachers.

Parents attending a session will have opportunity to make connections with other parents.

Workshops

Occasional, one-time offerings will touch on a variety of relevant topics, such as power struggles, adolescence, dealing with friends, sexuality and gender issues, child safety, raising a happy baby, and many more.

Workshops are taught by professionals in their field.
